Small Groups  We were made for community.  As a result, we long for the deep, authentic relationships that Jesus had in mind when he prayed that we would be one.  Here at [Evangelical Covenant Church in Springfield] we believe the church should be the last place where anyone feels disconnected.  That is why we are committed to connecting people with one another through small groups.  It is our belief that, like nothing else, small groups provide the kind of life-giving community that builds and empowers the body of Christ and impacts our community and world.  By participating in loving, caring communities, members of our small groups.         reach inward as they care for each other,         reach upward as they worship God together, and         reach outward into our community in service and evangelism.
