Rob graduated from Gordon College (Wenham, MA) in 1983 with a B.A. in Biblical Studies. In 1990, he received the Master of Religious Education from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Rob received his Doctor of Ministry degree from Biblical Seminary (Hatfield, PA) in May 2008.
A native of New England, Rob met his wife, Sarah, while both were attending college in Wenham, Massachusetts. Following college, Rob and Sarah were married in Barrington, RI on August 20, 1983 where they began their church ministry at Barrington Baptist Church.
Rob was ordained in 1992 at First Baptist Church in Bethlehem, PA where he served as Minister of Christian Education and Youth.
In 1993, the Fishers moved to Hickory, NC when Rob accepted a call to do Christian education ministry at Corinth Reformed Church. In 1997, Rob became senior past at Christ Covenant Church in Harleysville, PA where he and Sarah have served for the last ten years.
Rob and Sarah have two boys: Robbie (1991) and Coby (1993).
