WELCOME To The Covenant
Often when one thinks of a church, the picture that comes to mind is a building. But the church is people, not a place or even a meeting that one attends on Sunday mornings. The church is people - people living not simply in relationship with God but also living together in mission with Him. Evangelical Covenant Church of Springfield is a community, actually an extended family, with members of all ages and many walks of life. It is a community of faith that desires to know God through his Word, and to make him known to our world through their lives.
ECC Springfield seeks to be a place for those who long to connect or re-connect with God; our hope is to make the story of God in Christ both accessible to those searching as well as challenging to those further along on their spiritual journey.
From our Sunday morning worship experience to our Wednesday evening family dinners, at our core is God's message of grace, hope and healing and the belief that God loves every person, regardless of how broken, disappointed or uncertain. This is the very heart of our community one that we would love for you to come and experience for yourself.

The CE Board will be hiring a JV intern for this coming summer. The person will be responsible for organizing the activities for the junior high students of our church. LADIES BRUNCH

We will be honoring moms and daughters with a wonderful brunch to be served by our men. There will be special entertainment as well and a Craft Fair. Tickets will be available Sunday, April 13.

PROJECT HOMELESS CONNECT

Project Homeless Connect is a one day, 'one stop shopping' opportunity for individuals and families in our region who are without a place to live. Events just like it are happening in cities across the country. You can help provide assistance for their bodies, minds and spirits. This is an opportunity to see people's lives restored. One hundred agencies and vendors will gather. More than five hundred men and women in need will converge on the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield to get help at a critical time in their lives. 500 volunteers are needed to assist them.
